well any ATC 185/200 head will work, as well as the Xr200 head
cheers for that so does that mean the xr200 and the 200x head are the same also

Back in the late 80s I used a 200s head on my 85 200x so yes they will fit.

yep the top ends from all the 185/200 cc motors are swap-able from a 1980 185 to a 1985 200x! (and everything in between)
and then the XR200 top end as well
and also some Chinese knock offs as well ive seen
NOTE: 86/87 200X is NOT the same!

I thought I read in a thread you can swap in the 200x cam or the xr200 cam for higher performance. Might be smoking crack though.

Just went through the XR200 cam swap on my 200x and I bent a valve. The valve relief cuts aren't deep enough so I had the piston recut and now I'm waiting for my XR200 head. Kinda a frankenmotor XL185S bottom end, 200x cylinder and piston and XR200 cam and head. haha

The bent valve should not have happened. Valve timing was probably out.
