I'm sure I was told a 400ex swinging arm bolt is a good replacement?? is this right before I order a new one?

I cut my 86 bolt out too! With a freaking sawzall l o l . anyways, ya i have a 400ex bolt in mine. maybe 300ex, i forget its been a minute. anyways, i went with a used one for like 25$ shipped on ebay. You may have to find a press to get the pieces out now! I had to

Make sure you put some lube on the new bolt. Personally I recommend marine lube. That stuff is the best for water and corrosion resistance.

Another solution to prevent the new swingarm bolt from seizing is to replace the conventional swingarm needle bearings with the nylon swingarm bushings sold in the 3ww shop. There is no possible way for the bolt to seize in nylon! I have a set in my 250, and aside from a little bit of squeak that developed after a bit of ride time, I am completely happy with them!

Unfortunately out of stock at the moment, but here they are... http://shop.3wheelerworld.com/productdetails.php?productid=101

BTW, I am not the seller of these parts, just a satisfied customer putting in a plug for a great product available right here from the community

I have a 400ex in my 85r now. Works great and you can't beat $27 vs whatever crazy money the atc250r ones go for now. 400ex bolt FTW!

x2 - I got the 450R swinger bolt on my R as well- since it was much cheaper. Mine wasnt stuck-just worn badly where
the bearings ride. I guess thats why it didnt seize.lol
its appearance is slightly different but length and diameter is the same.
