I am almost near positive that my clutch is stock. it is pretty darn stiff too.. are the 350x clutches supposed to be stiff or not? is it my clutch hose or is it just normal? thanks

Basket may be notched a bit. I always run Barnett or OEM only; Also make certain the cable is newer /no kinks and LUBED!!

My clutch is smooth as silk! Pull it with your pinky finger and I have heavy springs. You'd be amazed how much a good cable affects the tension.

Also might be a good idea to lube the cable.
If it's the original cable you might want to spend the few bucks and get a new one. Your clutch and transmission will thank you...

Agreed, shouldn't be stiff to pull..
But why it's stiff, worn basket, dry/seizing cable...only you could answer.
Suggest to disconnect the cable from the clutch lever and see how the cables moves..should at least give an ideas where it's coming from and what your next move is.

Thanks. I just ordered some hellbound racing levers and a new seat cover. I'm getting the levers this weekend and I will check out the cable and get back to you guys. I had a raptor 350 and it was smooth. But didn't know about the 350x. Will riding it with it like this tear it up more?

If it is dry/seizing then yes it can eventually break the cable. If the clutch basket is notched it will only get worse. Cable routing is also a factor in the lever pull stiffness.
I would do as Doug suggests to check the cable movement.
If it were me, and I had just ordered new levers, I'd probably get a new cable, but that's just me. Budgets do not always allow new parts, I understand that.
