Thanks I thought it was 2 stroke so I have been running mixed gasNo its a 4 stroke drain that gas out the tank and carb and you should be good about the only thing mixed gas in a 4 stroke will do is make it run like crap probably can just drain the tank put fresh gas and go id change the spark plug also once that mixed gas is burnt off out the carb im sure it fouled the plug

Yep, a 200 4 stroke, your fuel just got cheaper.
There are provisions for a starter on the engine cases, but it would be a lot easier to buy a 1984 or 85 that came with one than it would be to try and gather up all the parts you would need to make a starter work on that trike.
There were no chain drive YTM’s that had reverse.

You can look it up on my site, both your VIN and engine serial comes up as the 83 YTM200 (Model K). Interesting that the two numbers don't match on the end, not sure if that suggests the engine was swapped from another machine, or if Yamaha didn't match numbers at the factory.

Also, never had problems running 2 stroke mixed gas in 4 strokes if it's a heavy oil mix I could see it being bad for the spark plug, but 40:1 and thinner should be fine. I just ran my old gas from the chain saws (50:1) in my Honda riding mower and didn't see a difference at all except maybe a tiny bit of smoke on startup (choke + cold engine = lots of fuel being burnt). My chainsaw fuel is also E0 90 octane, not the typical 87 octane E10 that we have at the pumps around here.
