what do you mean? the axle is rusted, or you can't break the bead...
for the axle what i first had to do was beat on the axle with a hammer, but if u decide to do that, either use a piece of wood between the axle and hammer, or unscrew your nut out enough so you don't mushroom the end... do it at own risk tho, i dont know if its possible to bend like that or what, but thats how i did it... and when you do get it off, make sure to grease it up real good before putting it back in....
as for breaking the bead, myself i like to put a board on the tire and drive upontop of the board with my truck, and it breaks it usually first time, sometimes, the board has to be repositioned tho.

I had the same problem with my 83 200e, it was a tuff sucker to get off. Prop it on its side and keep spraying wd40 down in there over a couple days. Then beat it hard, but be careful with the threads.
