I seriously dont know. The guy I bought them from, pulled them from a brande new Headlight off the shelf.
The 350x's have a special headlight for them and them only as far as I know.

nope, It did work, But I paid less for the whole tailight then I did for each headlight thats why i am grumpy about that, plus those bulbs are easier to come by. I may try to rig some in.... Oh I am so mad

Probably a voltage regulator problem. A lot of people over look this and blow a set or 2 of bulbs before realizing there is other issues.
Bulbs? I can get non-halogen ( sp? ) bulbs a lot cheaper than $25. If you need some let me know.

Will they work in a 350x? I ask because I am sure they have thier own special bulb.

I remember seeing a post where somebody got 350X replacement bulbs from Dennis Kirk for $3 to 5 each. However I think they are a 25W bulb while the OEM 350X bulb is 35/36.5W. Still, cheaper than the (I think) $20 each that Service Honda wants for em

How long did it take for the bulbs to blow? :wondering

the volatage regulator is mounted on the backside of the airbox. i think it's the white + green wires . the other 2 are for the tail light.
( 4 wires going back towards the rear of your trike )
i was working on my x once and forgot to plug in the regulator - POP went 2 halogens ,,,, it took a few extra revs to get the cheap tail light bulb to pop.

I swear i cannot find the bulbs on the DennisKirk site. Maybe I should try calling.

The light blew in under a minute. They got all blue (Projected against the wall) and then bam, out and some smoke.

I think my regulator only has 3 wires coming out of it, and 2 are hooked up. I will have to look better

Yes, they fit in the 350x. I have been running this style bulbs in my 350x's for years. I would rather blow a couple $3 bulbs than a $20 one. But as mad_max stated they are 35watt bulbs. They aren't quite as bright as a halogen, but they are faily close. I'm not sure how many I have in stock but I do try to keep a half a dozen or so. I am thinking they run $2.75 a bulb. I will need to double check this toi be sure.

I checked denniskirks web site and I couldn't find them either. I know they had them before. hmmm

Put a volt meter on a hot light feed wire. Start the motor. Watch the voltage and rev the motor. If it takes a huge jump, your regulator is not working.

you know what I looked at one on ebay, ity had 2 wires and what I believe was a ground anttached to a bracket that grounds the the frame. Mine doesnt have that. So I figure that my surges of power have no where to be distributed to. Or is the one in the picture nit for a 350x?
Could someone please take a gander at it.

Do you have a manufacturer name and part number? With those anyone could have it crossed at a parts shop.

Not sure if you are selling the bulbs you have but if you are I would gladly purchase some off you. as for the wattage. I could give a monkeys butt as I dont like riding at night. So it would just help when Its kinda dusk and I am riding back

Make sure both the wires going to the regulator are good. The rest of the electrics are in the front and the regulator is in the back. Its easy for a wire to get damaged. The regulator not being connected is the #1 reason for light bulbs to blow.
