where are the early R pics?

I've been a member for a while now and I cant remember there ever being a thread on early R pictures. I want to get an early R (like a '81 or '82) and I was curious how good you can make them look. So lets see some.

well my 83R certainly isn't like some of the other peoples around here, but I think she'll do the trick. DG pipe and silencer, and about to have the 300 kit put on... She's goin in for some powdercoating and paint work, so after that it'll be even better! Hope this is what you meant by "early" R.

my definition of an early R is pre '84 and including the'84 year model. So that fits the bill perfectly

Well I got this "R" from my younger brother. So when the original seat wore out he replaced the material with one of his old Wrangler shirts. Don't worry I have a new seat cover to put on it for the summer time. (gotta love Ebay)

Here's an '82 for ya..... :) It's in decent shape. Wanna get some different tires for it. Hopefully something that is close to the stock tires. I want gold rims for it too.

My '81 which I hope to really do some customizing to it. Where as with the '82 I wanna get it as close to original as I can.

Here's my old 82 250r, did a resto on this one, painted the frame, tank, wheels, rebuilt the engine etc, etc, but once I got a ride on an 86 250R this one had to go!!<p>

ummm, should have somewhere, its about 6 years since I sold this one but I'll have a look for you, have tank and rear fender decals for it in case anyone is interested!!
