i have a 110 that i have been tinkering with now for about a week and i got it running. i need some advise as to why it will run good from an idle to midrange but when i give it full it seems like it runs out of fuel. it runs alright with the choke on. ive tried two different carbs and i get the same result. i was wondering, if the intake gasket is leaking would it show up as a leak during idle? i sprayed brake clean on the intake gasket and it didnt seem to do anything, but that was at idle. i didnt try it with more throttle.

thanks
tyler

check your air filter. make sure it and the hose that runs from the airbox to the carb are clean

How can you tell the size of the jets and which one is which?

Its stamped on it...I'm thinking your petcock on the tank is filled with rust or crud, making the gas flow into the carb bowl slower, not gi ving you enough gas at full throttle...Check the tank for rust and make sure the carb is clean, and youll be good to go.
