G'day guys, I was just wondering if a 82 Front brake caplier will work on an 81 250R? If not do I just need the larger front disk that the 82 250R uses?

Hmmmm.... pretty sure the front calipars are the same, only difference was the 82R rotor was a drilled rotor while the 81R was a solid disk..... any one else????

I may be wrong but the older "R" calipers look identical to the 83-85 200X calipers.

the front caliper for the 81-84 ATC250R and 83-85 200X's, maybe 86-87 200X's but I'm not sure, were all the same.

The calipar themselves might be the same, but the mounting brackets are different. Either case, the answer to 81 vs 82 we can agree that they are identical!
