I have a 84 honda 200m the pull roap is full of oil.Is there a seal there. The 3 wheeler runs great I start it with the electric start but when I pulled the roap oil came out.I loosened the cover and it was full of oil could some one tell me whats wrong.I just bought it and its in great shape.Do they make a front rack for this 3 wheeler factory.I have a rear rack but no front one or which one would fit and where do I buy one.Im new to this site and its awesome.

Yes there is a seal - for the crankshaft in that area- Do you have a shop manual?
if not ---get one it will be the single most powerful mod you can get for your trike.
Im into Yammis- so Im not familiar with your setup--but Im sure someone here can walk you thru it

is the seal from the outside or do you have to tear the whole motor down split the case.Whats the cheapest place to buy parts for these things brakes cables etc.

www.mfgsupply.com should have everything you need, then of course theres bikebandit.com and servicehonda.com

It shouldnt be too hard to fix your pullstart problem

If you need a copy of the 200m manual pm me, and ill send it to you through AIM or something.

Are you sure it's oil ? and not dirty water ?

If it went thru deep water.. the pull handle does not always seal properly and lets water in..

Is your oil level low ? Once you drain it... check you oil... ride around.. DRY roads and check it again.. if you get more .. you have a problem.

Its oil thats for sure.I loosened the pull rope and oil came out Im going to take the cover off and start it to see if oil is going in there.I just bought it maybe some one over filled the oil and it went past the seal is that possible.I will also drain the oil and put new in and it should stay full if not theres a problem. What oil should I put in the motor now for winter?

5w40 would be fine.

That big screw with the flathead type slot you are refering to i beleive is the timing hole.. wich leads to the flywheel, i do beleive there is oil in there normally anyways.. so no biggie there.

I have never heard of having an oil leak into the pull start before.. does not mean it's impossible i guess.. but yours would be a first for me.
