Got my trike running again, however, noticed backfire through the suction?? line running from the intake manifold-between the carb and cylinder housing-to the fuel pump/filter down by the gas tank.
Anyone out there have a clue what this might mean????
Also as a new member to this board, I want to tell you all that this is a great way to find out info from the pros!!!!!!

Ok a couple of questions for ya.
Q1. Is it doing this during the cold months or just all the time?
Q2. Do you hear a ticking like 2 spoons hitting together when your engine is running?
Q3. When you say running again, what do you mean? Didi it have to be taken apart?
Hopefully when you answer these questions we can better help you.

Welcome to the site. We hope you enjoy it.
Can you give us a little more info here:
Has the machine sat for any length of time?
Has any top end work been done?
Does the motor Run good?
Does it seem to have much compression?
Does it backfire throught the carb as well?
The more info you give the better we will be able to help diagnos your problem and then give reccomendations to fix / correct it ( if needed ).
Thanks
Howdy
