Hey all, well this weekend i went home and rode my 350x, but its got problems. well first, the brake level got real soft, like nothing there, and the front cailper is sticking.. .So i filled the cylinder up and see no leak, and the level still is weak, and the cailper is still sticking, i can ride it, but when i do a wheelie the tire stops spinnging. and my rotor gets hott, now, the two problems dont go together, if the cailper sticks then the level should be rock hard, but its not. why is it doing this? thanks.

Sounds like you need to take the caliper off and at least check the slide pins. If they are sticking it will cause the pad to rub on the rotor. Another thing is the caliper pistons. If they are sticking, it will cause the same thing. As far as the soft lever, it sounds like you need to bleed the brakes.

I had this exact same problem with my X's front caliper and fixed it with a rebuild kit. Your pistons are most likely gummed up causing them to pop out but not slide back in. I'd take the pistons out, clean them, and replace the seals. Remember to install them with fresh brake fluid.
