ok guys its just around the corner the pennsyltucky 09 it is open to anyone but keep an eye on this thread for info i am plannign on the last weekend in january startign the day someoen shows up tillthe day the past person leaves!

ther ewillbe trail riding, a hair scramble, ice racign (wether permitting)and last but not least flat track racing! food and drink provided for a small cover charge for the entire weekend and multiple beds for peopel to sleep in. 5 beds in the one room and 2 rooms with beds for couples, and 3 couches and 3 recliners and plenty or room for sleepign bags and what not. and plenty of parts and tools on hand and a heated garage for manny machines if mechanical failure should happen.

Just threw a headlight assembly on the 250R tonight, I guess there wasnt a voltage regulator (didnt think I saw one), I blew the light out. Anyone got a regulator and nice headlight assembly they wanna part with?

I wanna be able to do those night time scrambles, and that night time road ride sounds fun too.

The R only needs a couple more things. Rear brakes hooked up, new set of tag bars and dual gasser throttle, new mudlites, and I'm gonna throw on a dial-a-jet. Not sure if I'm gonna do the clutch yet.

It sounds like you've hit your desired attendance level for this ride. Also The TPC 450 is a LOUD four stroke. Although I'm sure it would get set up differently for Trail riding.

Well guys Brapp and I have been brainstorming some ideas for food, that are good and feed an army, any ideas PLEASE let me know....We got a few goods things in the works, but if you got any others..

I make a mean beef stew in a pressure cooker. It is usually better after a day because the flavors blend. I can make a couple batches and bring it with me. Trust me.....it is really good and really hearty. If anyone is a meat and potato person, they will love it. I got the recipie from my mom. Of course it won't feed 30 people without cooking for a week, but I should be able to cook up enough to add a dish for a meal.

Grillin and chillin is the way to go. Burgers, hot dogs and buffalo style wings on the grill.

Yeah if i can make it the old man will be there too! I got the lifan running a few weeks after the ride, i just took a big red wiring harness i had and used it on the 200x and it worked like a charm. If you went to tf08 it was there, ill be bringing it to 09 also if you make that. maybe the we can talk my dad into stepping it up to a 200x for this ride so you can take it for a spin!

If you've still got some room I'm game for taking the ride out there. It's only 150 miles from me so its a walk in the park compared to the ride out to Raffa's. I'll probably bring the 330R and the Arctic Cat with the plow that I brought to Raffa's last year. All I need is a piece of floor to sleep on and a place to park my truck/trailer. I don't see any problem getting the time off work. Is it 100% for January 31st/February 1st? Once it is I can put in for the Saturday off of work.

Don't hold me to it Chris but I know I have run the front sprocket from my '85 R on my '85 350X before. I believe I had to put a shim in it and although the R doesn't use the two tapped holes in the sprocket to hold it on, the sprocket had them anyway and I was able to use the 350X's plate and bolt with it. I did a little checking as I wrote this and found this link that shows them as the same part number:

Anyone know where I can get a 15 tooth front sprocket for a 350x? Can't seem to find one?


Ive got one off of a xr500 that i'll bring if ya want it, its either a 15 or a 17. it will fit and so does the 250r, i just put one on my 350 off of a 250R.. ive got several for the 250R (theyve got the tapped provisions for the clip), ill see if any of those are 15.. unless you want me to mail it to ya.. let me know...

Let's chain 'em back to back and see what happens. :twisted: The guy in the Duramax with the exhaust and programmer was pretty shocked when my 12 year old Dodge loaded with a weeks worth of stuff for the family vacation and two jet ski's on the trailer hung right next to his empty truck from 50-85 on the way to VA Beach last summer. He gave me a big nod and a thumbs up after that. I had a low fuel pressure problem then, its fixed now so I'm 100%. :D

I put in for the day off so I'm all set, I'll see you all up there.

ok guys the pond ha sbeen cleared of ffor the most part and we have 5 inche sof ice at the south end and 3 inches up near the inlet end. so we got a good size play area but not quite big enough for the studded tires.

i have the yellow us110 i'll probably bring that and my 350x. the atc 70 i picked up wont shift rite but it fires rite up in a pull or 2.

the 70 i got the other day is a real pain to get it in gear. you have to play with the shifter for awhile and it decides to go into gear. i'm guessing it needs a clutch. :wondering

the 1970 yellow us90 under loft i got it running with the 85 atc 110 motor in it. i'm going to put the 300ex hubs and 18" turftamers from the blue 110 on it. it sounds mean with the Cobra exhaust.

I'm planning on bringing my 330R. I haven't taken it out of storage yet and its been laid up since last winter but I don't foresee any problems with it being good to go. I'm hoping to pull it out tomorrow and give it a once over.
