ok im really confused can some one tell me y my stock 83 200x is quit a bit faster than my other one tht bored .50 over a kenny harmon cam powroll valve springs a uni filter jeted and got a cobra pipe. same gearing and tire size on both ? can sombody explain this im thinking the stock compresion is too low maybe?
could this cause it to actuly bog the motor down some? reallys got me confused.

on the one with the motor stuff im fixing to put 18in multi trac tires on it and a norris high reving cam its perty much a flat traking bike. also can sombody give me some ides on gearing to keep a lil speed with these tires i have 1 tooth biger front thts gona go on whts good for the back? tooth wise with 18 in tires?

well thts true but the other one has a harley davidson pipe on it ya i know wtf? but it was on it when i got it.

what do u think a dg or bassani or somthin like tht would do?

and has inyone ever made a suertrapp using one of supertrapps universal pipes they sell? if so wich one is the easyist to fit on a 200x with a welder?

A bassani would give you way more performance than a dg would. A supertrapp isn't bad, you would just have to match the universal inlet size to your exhaust pipe size. Keep your eyes open for an old supertrapp, the brushed aluminum model. There was or is an old one on ebay right now. Good hunting.

It's probably the jetting that's holding it back.

i know its gona be slower now becuse i just put 18inch tires on the back but with 22in razers and 13/40 gearing with a .50 bore pipe and kenyharmon cam it would hit 32 mph with a gps thats just awful

my stock x 12/40 gearing 22inch tires and a pipe not much more than a stock pipe will hit 56mph with the same gps

im thinking it maybe a little lean so weres the best place just to pick up a few jets to play with n see were i am at on my jeting i think i can get them for like $1 a pice at a local shop is that and ok price? can sombody give me some ideas on jet numbers for the main and pilot that i sould get to start with

im thinking the bike with the motor work should atleast hit 60ish if the other runs 56

THANKS adam

well my post was apparently deleted...or never went through.

go to a 115...needle clip in the middle postion and then go from there.

It will all be on you, you'll need to do plug chops to check and see...
