    No spark - 200e

I just got done making new gaskets for the BR and put her all back together with no leaks, but now it has no spark.

Took her all apart again and everything looks good, can someone tell me where i should start to look for issues?

I really want to ride it, its been 3 weeks since i got it, and i have worked all the other issues out, this is the last one, and my thumb is itchin for the throttle ;-)

did you clean the fly wheel? with what you did you really shouldn't have lost spark? Make sure every thing is plugged in properly and also check your plug wire that is what happened to my auto x

Yeah, i did clean it off with a rag, no oil on it when i put it back together. Ill have to pick up a plug wire from somewhere, i just borrowed a multimeter to test some things, not sure how/where to start but ill start somewhere im getting really irritated because every time i fix one problem and want to ride, another one comes my way!

Well the manual shows what parts to check and it also shows how to check the continuity for the switches but what about testing the other things like the CDI, pulse generator, ignition coil etc etc....?

How can i bypass this to see if it will fire again without the stop switch?

Yeah it had spark and ran fine, the only issue it had that made me tear it apart was an oil leak from a hole in the case, and bad gaskets, so i fixed those and put it back together and no spark.... however does the lack of proper continuity in the kill switch indicate its bad, or is that not my issue?

    EDIT*** Cannot type again :-)

Hard to say offhand. I know lots of people read the diagrams wrong or test incorrectly. Then they wind up replacing all kinds of parts when they didnt need to. I think its unlikely your kill switch just died. I would look somewhere else. But, it could be it, who knows. I always start by checking for a good ground before anything. Good Luck.

I unplugged it and still nothing... But it is showing continuity when i unplugged to test it (for both positions)... All the other tests came out fine so far, going to test the ignition coil next, i just put new plug wires and plug on lastnight...

EDIT*** I typed the wrong thing, it HAS continuity in both the "on" and "off" positions...
