    250es high performance

Ok so I have a cam coming from web cams and about to have a 025 mm high comp piston for the trike. Just wondering if anyone has ever built up either the sx or es. I am wondering what to do about the carb and exhaust.

Not a lot of info out there about building up one of these motors.

    Anyone have any sugestions

    Thanks

Got any better closeups of that es in your avatar? I am in the process of aquiring a 250sx myself and I too would like to do a few things to it. I've used the search button alot lately and have come up with the following for easy upgrades for our trikes: 350x carb, remove air box lid, cobra exhaust.
Avatar: 1986 250SX with a 350x front end. Almost done.

I'm sure there is a thread about my SX somewhere.

I run the 350X carb and a Cobra but I would MUCH prefer a SuperTrapp exhaust.

If your hu8nting, you have to keep it quiet and that doesn't allow the motor to breathe like it wants.....

IDK how aggressive your cam is, but I had to install the HP springs and keepers. I don't run the airbox lid either.

    Nice looking trike bud

ive always wanted to see if a 250x top end would bolt up to a big red base because the 250x head is 4 valve and has a roller bearing cam. then you could use the big bores designed for the 4 valve head
