    1985 Suzuki ALT185?

I owned one many years ago, and it was one of the worst 3-wheelers that I have owned. Reliable was the one good thing, and if you have ever been around one or owned one, you know all of it's down falls and this could have been Suzuki's way of getting the 3-wheelers banned, just so there line of 4-wheelers ("First on four") would take off and make them rich. Well as it goes I have picked up another one recently from a fellow board member, and didn't relize (until I started buying parts) that they only made this 3-wheeler for one year. They never seamed "rare" to me, because there is a Suzuki dealer just up the road from me and they sold tons of them back then($799.00 brand new out the door in 1985). Does anyone have any idea what the production numbers are on this model? Any insite or comments on this model would be cool.

Wow, I didnt know that either, I thought there were at leats 3 years of the 185 made. At least they made a long run of the LT 185 4 wheelers that use the exact same engine parts, and many of the 125 parts work on the 185 as well. The 4 wheeler 185 came out in 1984, so you would think the 3 wheeler would have been there too? I guess I dont see many 185 suzuki 3 wheelers around here, a couple 125's once in a while but not many of those either......

From what I have figured out the ALT125 was made from 1984-1986 and the ALT185 was only made in 1985. I have tried to find production numbers, but have had no luck.
