Thumbs down honda 200e front sprocket

I need to replace the front sprocket on my 200e and I have the pull starter, sub transmission, and all the bolts out as well as the seals for the pull start flange and the neutral indicator but the cover that the electric start bolts to still will not come off. Do I need to remove that flange that the pulley for the pull start bolts to or is there something with the starter or the neutral indicator that needs to be removed or is there something else that would be holding that cover from coming free.

manual shows you exactly how to get it off. the pullstart dues have to come off and so does the flywheel and then that entire cover under the flywheel.

I bought the online manual but haven't found anything on specifically on swapping out the sprocket or removing that cover, any suggestions on how to brake that nut loose on the flywheel if that needs removed (in particular how do you keep the engine from spinning?)

What I do it put a socket wrench on the bolt, then hit the wrench with a in the direction to loosen the bolt. The quick jolt should break it loose.

On my 200e i took off the 3 bolts holding the "pullstart cup" on, then the bolt for the flywheel comes out, then the stator slides off, then you can get to the flywheel, pull that with the puller (GET THE RIGHT ONE!!) then its all straight forward from there... (the left case will be exposed to take off to slide the front sproket out...)
