    Blown Head Gasket

Hi i'm new here, been doing alot of reading on this site and thought it was about time i posted.

I have a 1984 big red 200es that smokes. Lately it has gottin worse, and i noticed that the head gasket is starting to leak, I was wondering if the head gasket could be causing it to smoke.

90% of the time a 4 stroke smokes due to bad valve seals. rings rarely wear out.a bad head gasket is a possibility but most likely it would be very low on compression if the head gasket was causing it to smoke
