    Restored 85 Polaris 250R/es

I finally finished up my Polaris P3 this weekend. I thought I would share some pictures of it since you don;t see pictures of these everyday. Please excuse the poor quality pictures as they are from a cell phone.

Special thanks to John Swinehart for helping me out on working some things out with this trike.

    It is a great ride!

Very nice job! I have tried to get one of those time and time again and keep missing the chance. I hope to add one to my collection in the future.

very cool, I always wondered how those rode. More like a utility, but with the 2- stroke engine.

I take it the final re-assembly went down with out a problem.
Is it all complete or are there any little odds and ends to finish up.
Looks great - can't wait to ride it again - I love how it handles!

That thing is sweet. I like the rear tires. The engine looks like what they still put in their quads today lol.

Thanks for all the replies guys. Yeah - it is all together. I almost had it all back together and found a piece I didn't know where it went. Upon going thru the manual I found that it was a transmission brace - had to pull the tranny back out to put this piece on. Set me back about an hour as you have to remove everything in a certain order as others have mentioned. one last thing I have to do is get the front tire remounted on the OEM Yammy wheel - I thought I could get away with using another 3 bolt Honda wheel I had - but the offset is about 3/4" off. Still ride-able though. I also did away with the Oil Injection when I did this build after hearing some nightmares about them.
