    Smile what upgrades for my 200x

    ok i have had my 200x for about 5 months now and i am ready to do a full restore on her but i would like to know what upgrades i can do to make her a little faster with out having to open the motor or anything i am a newb when it comes to 4 stroke let alone my 200x so please be as clear as you can be i have always owned 2 strokes ( lots of banshee's) oh and can any one also tell me why my motor makes a clicking sound it runs fine but it makes that sound

    you can change the front sprocket,easy to do.and ticking is usually valves,you can adjust them.if youve never done it before drop it off and have it done for you.cheap to do.

    what would i change the front sprocket to? and how long do i have til those valves complete mess up

    Not a whole lot you can do without opening up the motor. I would say high flow filter, pipe and jet. Possibly try to get your hands on an xr200 carb. Check out these threads.

    get a manual these motors are quite simple and you can achieve a nice motor from a cam ,carb , air filter and exhaust good luck and where are the pics????

    The 200x responds very well to a good pipe, filter, jet kit or xr carb, and sprocket changeing can also help alot. porting the head makes a huge differance also. Things that also get forgot can help to, like a new plug and oil change, and other maintence type stuff.

    hey,maybe some good polishing...lol but yeah good name pipe, filter,re jet the carb,polish the lower's..........have fun

    well right now i have a uni filter on it (brand new), a cobra pipe i will be changing soon to the chrome dg pipe the carb is stock and i change the oil every 3 rides same goes for the spark plug here are some pics
