    finally got a Tecate

    hey guys, heres my latest find, I got this with a Dixon zero turn mower for $400. The trike is an 85, does run but needs to be gone through the carb and fuel lines and all that I'm assuming. Brakes work, cooling works, and the rear maier plastic seems to be new. Since taking this picture I've been able to get most of the green color back out of the tank, and I think I'll need to get a new fender for the front. My goal is to get this ready to take to the dunes at Little Saraha in a few months, so obviously running better and paddles are the major things I'll be doing to it.

    Sorry about the bad pictures, all I had was my camera phone at the time. If anyone has any information about this trike or suggestions please let me know as I dont know much about these. Thanks!

    85 Tecate, 2002 Honda 300EX, 83 & 84 250R, a bunch of honda 4 strokes from 90 to 200cc, a klt 110, ytm 200, polaris 250 cyclone, '05 Roketa 125 (cheap chinese pitbike to beat on), '69 Scrambler 6x6, and a 52 John Deere B (hey its a rowcrop narrow front, that counts right? )

    nice find!! a friend of mine bought one that has been sittin in his buddys garage for almost 2 years.. rear fenders are beat nobrakes ( have the rears but not on yet) cobra pipe, alum bars scott grips.... bought it for $100 put fresh gas in it, and it started on the 3rd kick and idles and reved like a champ!!
    i been trying to get it off him every day for 2 weeks now

    Three wheeler guys probably have the biggest balls out of all the ATV/Motorcycle riders. You just have to be a little twisted to ride them, and you have to be a great rider to do so.
