    thanks

I already had a look around the wiring and it seemed ok but I am not too sure I found it all, I will look further

I have a copy of the workshop manual

I will look in there for coil readings

If it is a 1984 200es they are known for the CDI's to go bad. A shop here by me keeps a couple new ones on stock all the time, just for the Shriners and their parade bikes. It is a 1984 only part too.

It's right the CDI #969 seem to have some problem,I solve ignition problem many times by changing the CDI on the 200es

did the tests in the book

when testing the cdi unit, I got no readings at all when testing the resistence between the five connectors.

I thought I might get something between at least 2 two of them but nothing

I will take it its goosed

is this a honda only part ? are they still available ?

make sure the killswitch isnt shorting out. Ive had this happen... you can just unplug the switch and then check spark
