    KLT 200 or 250?

    I just bought a kawasaki KLT 200 or 250 not sure? any features i can use to identfy year/size?

    In the above pic the one on the left is a 250 the one on the right is a 200. Main difference is the headlights from what I can see the 250 has a metal one the 200 has a plastic bezel around it. Also on the displacement will be stamped on the engine.
    85 350x 12:1 piston and porting by "boosted96cobra"

    1 84 Yamaha Zinger, mildly ported & polished, milled, bored .25 over finally running

    Mine has the metal headlight and the funky front suspension so i suppose 250
    thanks for the info. any where i can find a cheap aftermarket fuel pump, the one onit is too big and floods it out if i dont get it started in a few seconds

    Rockey Mountain Atv.com, the auto parts store, ebay, dealer maybe. There is a website called bikeboneyard.com and he has stuff sometimes. Just make sure what ever one you buy wont flood out your carbs like its doing now.
    I have had 3 klt 250's and I really like them. A fun fact the klt250 holds the world record for the most weight towed (on a tow sled) by a 3 wheeler, its on youtube.

    this is the first kawasaki ive owned. im used to hondas this things a little different
