New to the board
ok so I got this 83 ytm225 and the front wheel bearings were shot so I had to hack off the front axle to get the wheel off.This is pretty standard I am thinking.But I cant find a axle online that is 16.5"long everyone is 15 or so.Is mine not original?Its a four lug hub.It has rear suspention and shaft drive.thanks for any insight on this.

in a 'pinch' i have herd of guys maiing front axles out of threaded rod from the hardware store

Three wheeler guys probably have the biggest balls out of all the ATV/Motorcycle riders. You just have to be a little twisted to ride them, and you have to be a great rider to do so.

First time rider
Try ebay. That axle is a long one don't know the spec, but when I went to the local cycle salvage yard there was a bucket and an entire wall of front axle bolts and NOT 1 was long enough.
