ATC 70 trade for mini bike

Got a guy wanting to trade me a ATC70 for my little dumb and dumber mini bike. Payed $400 for the mini bike, only reason i want to get rid of it is I can't ride it in the city. Been stopped by the police twice already. So for now it's just sitting and i need to rid myself of it. I think a 70 is a fair trade. 70 looks perfect but is getting a weak spark at the boot and no spark through the plug. Points, condenser or coil? Any ideas or suggestions.

Yeah but if I had a "Dumb and Dumber" bike hanging on my wall, every time I walked through he door all I could do is laugh about them being frozen together when they got off the bike. Still my favorite part of the movie.. The atc70 would be better in my opinion still though.

Usually if your getting fire at the plug wire but none through the plug, its the points. I would try to clean them first and regap.

Will post pics once i get the carb back on and points in it. Only thing i wanna really fix is to replace the crappy seat cover with a stock one. What was stock for a1982 model? How do you adjust the chain on this thing, apparently nobody ever has. I can push it up as far as i can get it and it still isn't tight.
