    PA coal hills....etc..

Okay, I've said many times how many decades I've dreamed of riding the big sand out in Glamis, but I've got to add another place to my ride-wish list.

Looks like some awesome riding and hill climbing going on up there. I don't know why I haven't paid attention to the pics and the vids on youtube before now.

Mods: My bad....should've put this in the correct forum. oops!

I live just west of Pittsburgh, and this corner of the state is nothing but a cluster of little mining towns and in just about every one you'll find a giant a "coal pile". Its not really coal its more like an ash/ slate mixture I guess that would be the best way to describe it. There used to be a huge one right across the street from my house and there were always trikes, quads and dirtbikes climbing it, but its gone now. I can think of at least 5 of them you can ride within 15 minutes of my house. The only downfall to riding on them alot is that it takes a toll on your fenders. My 700 has black rub marks on the sides of the tank that just won't go away. The other one is the black boogers....really nasty Heres a few shots of the "track" we used to have by my house.

You get back crap coming out of your tear ducts days later. I have worn a drywall mask before when riding. It does help alot.
Its funny after riding all day people take off their helmets and have 5 oclock shadow lol.

Those trails look great. The 3ww pic is cool too.

Not too keen on the black lung disease though.

That's what I thought at first, but apparently the place destroys machines and can kill a person just putting around in it, so I'm thinking it might be safer to ride in bio-weapons plant.....lol.
