200s running problem

i have a choke related problem(i belive) it runs fine on full and half chocke but as soon as i turn it to no choke it dies. if i turn it to no choke while riding it will drive fine till i let of the gas then it bogs out and kills. it smells like it is running verry rich. i was wondering if i could get an answer of wht i should adjust the jets to. (there not dirty i just tor it down and cleand all parts.)what is a good adjust ment to start with if this is evean the problem. please help!!!!!!

yes like stated clean it its most likely plugged pilot jet, its running rich because the choke makes it run extremly rich its also hard on the motor to run with the choke on because the gas washes the oil off the rings

i cleand the pilot jet i can see threw all holes i also soaked in carb clean for 15 min. then took a wire out of a twisti tie and cleand it outt.??? is ther any outher problem . like could it be the adjustment of the carb?? becuse i no i did not adjust the jets right but it was doing this befor i did any thing to the carb

could be your fuel mixture screw located in front of the carb bowl, also the idle screw could just be set too low

mixture screw should be lightly bottomed out then 1 7/8 turns out then set the idle

If I were you, I would've just put a kit with new jets into it. They're under $20 so you know you've got the right size jets and that they haven't been "cleaned" repeatedly to make them bigger. It can't hurt to try the advice above though.

make sure all your settings are factory and your float didnt get readjusted by mistake.

I have my '83 ATC200 set like this and it runs pretty good. I haven't moved the clip on the needle though, don't know where it's set at.
