1987 Honda 250sx Full Rebuild PICS!!!

Ok guys well i posted a while back in late summer when i came across a def POS 87 Honda 250sx. well i went and bought it off the guy for $100, and from what you can tell yup it def sat in his back field for about 10 yrs.

so here are a lot of pics of the progress ot the rebuild till tonight. The 87 rear end was completely shot. the swingarm was bent and the diff was rotten to almost nothing. so i had a spare 85 read end to throw on her. i media blasted every thing on her and powdercoated it all in my oven. bought many new stuff for her including Moose racing alum handlebars, motion pro twist throttle conversion, new rims and new tires. cobra exhaust, she has the 200x conversion to her. I have not left one thing untouched on this wheeler. every bragin is new, every seal is new. this is my fifth build and the 4th 3 wheeler build. let me know what you guys think!

Looks great! It always nice to see a machine brought back to life.

Where did you get the rear grab bar? I would like to put something like that on my Yamaha 225DX.

    - the rear grab bar i got off of EBAY for i think $45 with free shipping. i am going to polish it up a little and remove the shitty sticker they put on crooked

    - yes i did have a spare fram that i swapped over. once i cleaned the 3 lbs of missed welding there was nothing left of the side so she went to the scrap yard !

    - they are maier stock 250sx rear fenders

    - the rear shock is stock, the shock itself was actually still in decent shape, so since she is not a racer i just kept it and cleaned it up and powcercoated the rear spring blue again.
