    Mikuni Carbs?

    Where these the original OEM carbs for Yamaha, or were they aftermarket?

    They are the OEM carb. same with suzuki. Honda uses keihin carbs, not sure bout anyone else. this is true in recent years anyway, trikes may be different

    Actually, Mfg's have used both. So, it may be OEM or aftermarket. Pics will help. I believe the stock carb on that trike was a mikuni.

    The YTM had a Mikuni on it.
    YTM-200, Wheeling machine!!!

    just from my experience, Mikuni carbs are hard to tune for me. I can usually get the Keihin carbs close but I am not good with mikuni carbs
