    84 honda atc problem

I have a 84 honda atc 110 that I just put new piston and rings in and now it won't start. Im not sure what is wrong. I set the timing up the best I could with the book I have but the book isn't for that year. can anyone help me?

You've gotta get a bit more specific. It could be anything. Start with the basics. There are three things required to run an internal combustion engine. Fuel, compression, and ignition. You have to check and make sure you have all three of those or else no fun for you.

Thanks for the welcomes, and Yes I did have messured at my local honda dealer and they said it just needed the standerd size rings and pistion. Im thinking That there is something wrong with my timing cause I was trying to do it with a book that was for the older years. Dont know if theres a big difference but I have commprestion, spark and its getting fuel. but it still wont putter.

Are all the bolts at the right torque, and the same! This was a problem I had with another project with 2 wheels, that I don't talk about on here! Once I got the four bolts right, I was in business!
