there is very little stock on mine. it will smoke many modified 450s and not need to be rebuilt near as often.

i think i would rather have a 3 wheeler. i would have never got a 4 wheeler if they were racing 3 wheelers back in 1999. i have to much money in mine to sell it so i will just have to keep it. i could build a TPC 450 for about half of what i have in this 4 wheeler.

I was gonna get a TPC 450r, so close in fact I had the motor and frame from a 450r about to be shipped to me then Bill...I spend about 2 weeks planning everything out and talking in depth with Bill about everything. I then had to put everything on hold for personal reasons which sucks. I'd just like to have something newer to beat on so my 350x doesn't take the full beating. I either want a 450r or a ATC 250r for MX stuff. What do you think Jensen? I've never ridden a quad on an MX track but it seems like it could be fun.

it is hard to say. i do know that without a doubt, i would have went with the TPC over the 4 wheeler when i decided to make a change but it was not around then. i wanted to race MX but also did not want to go to 4 wheelers. more than anything i needed a change because i was destroying my bike almost every ride and there was just nothing out there to improve my 3 wheeler. i was out riding the bike and it was hurting me as well as holding me back. i wanted to go to the 250R and even got one for a short time. i just could not get use to the 2 stroke. i am a 4 stroke man. the 250R would have held up a little better but i would have trashed it also in the end. i guess i just can't really answer your question but for me it would be the TPC all the way. if you could just test ride it on a couple jumps that you take your 350 off of i bet you would think the same thing. I'm not going to tell you i never had any fun on my 4 wheeler but i would have had more fun on a 3 wheeler that could hold up to what i was doing. i won two championships with my 4 wheeler but had more fun last Saturday in the OTC race. i am not just trying to be a salesman, i said the same thing to Josh's dad Saturday night and i am sure he knew i was telling the truth.

Yea I am sure, but alas the TPC450r costs 2-3 times as much as a used 450r does....I really really want to get one built but I don't have 6-9k at the moment...There are '04 and '05 450r's for sale here for $2-3,000. I haven't ridden a quad in many years, I grew up riding both 3 and 4 wheelers and I still ride 3-wheelers to this day....But like you I don't like thrashing my 350x cause I feel like I am breaking it more and more every time I take it to the MX track. And I've never owned a 2-stroke so I am also very much a 4-stroke guy so that's why I don't have a 250r...
