what is this a seat to?

a while back i bought a 185s that was taken apart in boxes. a year later i'm getting around to putting it together. at the time the guy i bought it from said that he had a new seat for it. in the box was a brand new travelcade seat (still in plastic). problem is, i don't think it is the right seat for the 185 as i can't get it to fit right and where the pegs are on the seat don't line up with the fender holes. any idea what it actually fits and what it would be worth. if it is not for the 185, then i'm going to have to sell it to find another seat for the 185. also, there is a tag on the leather for the set that says m110. is this for a atc110?

The Pegs are bolts...take them out and bolt it from the underside...should have enough wiggle room to line them up.

i realize that as i was the one that put them in. the holes do not line up at all, not even close to my 185 fenders.

LOL. well boy's it look's to me like the seat is in fact for a Honda ATC but not a 185s,it look's to me too be for a ATC 185 and or ATC 200 from 1980-1984 I believe. The peg's that are there are for mounting up your mounting plate's on the rear it will have 2 tab's that come down that would go into the rubber seat hold's and the front will have the linkage where the lever would be so you can pop the seat off.On your 185S ATC the seat and fender's come off in a complete assy.,that seat is maent to come off by itself while leaving the fender's on.I could pull up some restroration pic's of the 2 machine's but go to the main page here on 3ww and go to the brochure section and check out the differance's between the 185s and the 185,they are totally different..Hope that help's but the seat you have will not work on your machine plus your missing the mounting hardware for the seat.

That might fit the 185/200 if you move the middle pegs to the front holes where you've got the bolts. If you're interested in selling it, shoot me a PM. I need a pan for my 200.

makes sense. i looked back at some pictures and i believe you are correct. so it'll fit the atc185's and atc200's but not the S or M models, correct? what is this worth? i hate asking that since i now have to sell it but they don't sell these anymore that i know of. it is complete and new (minus the locking hardware that can be taken from an older seat). this was still in the factory plastic wrapping until i opened it up to try to mount it.

looks to fit the 82-84 200 big reds, and the 200m. i'm sure its worth a good buck. Best bet would be ebay, unless some one here gives you a fair offer. I wouldnt let it go for less than 100.00 but thats just me. 82-83 big reds had a metal pan, so at this point they are in demand.
