    My new cr 500

Picked up this lil gem today. Been stored in a heated basement for the last 11 years. Its a 94. Starts 1-2 kicks cold, nice tight bike. The tires N rims are goin into storage and a set of supermoto 17's are goin on along with directionals, lights etc. This is gonna be my new street hooligan. Cant wait! Whats more badarse than a streeted cr500 tearing up the town? Brrrrrppppp

Find yourself an E-Line ignition for it...2,100W leads for plenty of lighting!

Haha. Im quite used to these things, first started riding them at 13 yrs old, (now 28) I always liked the look of the blood red 88'
They are fun rigs no doubt, they just need to be respected. They are only as crazy as your right hand tells them to be.

Yeh I got mine in 88 and it wasn't that it was too much there is no place to make run like it should around here. I run the piss out of his little brother 87 CR 250 though. It's just nice to sit and look at as it's still pretty but like my trike no one wants to ride it.

That's a nice, clean 500. After years of riding 250's and always wanting to go go big bore, I finally found the CR500 deal I was looking for in 2005. Here's a few pics of the 1999 I picked up for $2100. It's unrestored, all original, and still looks as good today. I usually only take it out once a year when we head to Michigan to ride the trail systems.
