    New fuel shutoff different than old one...is this a problem ? (pics)

    Looks like Yamaha fixed the problem with their petcock's. The new one looks so much beefier, but the new petcock when in the "on" position, is also much higher where it gets the fuel.

    Will there be any problem using this new petcock vs the old one?

    It just appears to me that I will have to switch to "reserve" sooner.

    Is this perhaps the wrong petcock?

    you cold always trim the copper tube and re size it to the same size as the old petcock.
