Where abouts in Michigan you originally from Mike ?
I will be up to Silver Lake sand dunes early June with several board members, I wonder if they still have any of those pens (?)

This old whip/flag matches the pen and was bought the same weekend . The orange is a little faded but its getting close to 30 years old LOL
