New to site just got a 83 Yamaha Tri 175

I,m in need of a Repair Manual For a 83 Tri 175. Just got it for free. Had trouble starting it. I had to put gas in the plug hole, then it would quit. Cleand the cab and nothing. So I found this site and found my answere. The Piolt Jet was clogged, cleand it and know it runs. Not shure if the carb is set rite or the spark plug. Tired of just guessing?

Thanks. I,ll see if I can find him. Checked the net but no shure answeres. Everything I find seems to be misleading info. I will keep searching the site. If I find the specs I will post them on here for Everyone to use. Later?

Thanks MonroeMike That helps alot. Settings 83 YT 175- Piolet air screw 1 turn out from seated position. Needle clip postion 3rd groove. Spark plug gap 0.7mm-0.8mm Or 0.028inch-0.03inch. Spark plug type NGK BP7ES or BP6ES.
