I went through the motor put a 200x piston and cam in it and did a light port and polish and all that is making it hard to start with pull rope and i went in and redid the clutch

Great work! I have 3 auto x's myself. They are an awesome machine, far superior than the 185/200s, just because of the suspension, and lighter feel, and feel sweet for winter riding, with no clutch makes it better in snow. I really like the super scoops, the all white plastics, and the "200x automatic" decal you have there, that really sets it all off. Be sure to post some pics up when it is all done. One last thing, what did you do for the dreaded rear brake lever? I have seen many guys use a lot of different setups, or not use one at all. Looks great!!

I used the 200s brake and cut it and turned it you have to cut twice and then welded it to the 200x pivot brake part

I put a 10.5 to 1 200x piston and a 200x cam but i used a 1983 top end but a 1985 bottom end so it has a manual comppression release and yes if you dont find the sweet spot you can pick the bike off the ground pulling on it

Makes me think of maybe using a 200M motor instead of the S. I've heard you will need to modify the down tube to make it clear the starter but not too much.

Looking forward to seeing this completed.
