New to the board
Alright guys im new to all this stuff and im just looking for help with my new project. its a 1985 yamaha tri moto 225 dx i bought it for 100. the guy said he never could get it running and the trani was shot. i got it home and had it running the next day (was the plug wire). Next was the trani. it was the spring on the shaft drive. it snaped somehow? but now im just looking for some help with it any hints tips thah any of you migh have for it. Thanks

Welcome, you got a heck of a deal! You want to make sure all of the fluids are fresh. Check the bearings, seals, etc. Just give it a real good look over an inspection.

The oil is all good. thats the first thing i did. thank good because when i did the stuff was so watered down and gray. i just did the breaks last night and greased everything up. All it needs is a trotal cable and i can ride it i cant wait.
