Nice build. I think it is great that it is not some cobbled together hunk of trash. That motor looks really good in there. I am with the general concensus and say we need VIDEO!!!! Maybe some burn out video too!!!!!
Keep on Triking!!!! "I am the NIGHT RIDER!!!"

Someone from Michigan used a XR or XL 650 who is on 3ww. But the 1000X is still bigger. Salt flats? Just wait until some lakes freeze nice and smooth.

That is an awesome build. How much does it weigh? Looks like the geometry is still pretty much stock? That has to be a blast to ride.

I will try and answer some of your questions.....

The motor is an 05 GSXR fuel injected at mid 160 hp. Definitely run out of balls before running out of power. I have a pile of pictures from fabrication and assembly. I will look for a way to post a gallery somewhere. I will also look at getting some video at some point. The trike has only been fully assembled for a couple of weeks so I haven't had a chance for beating on it too badly yet. The frame is about 3 inches longer than stock but otherwise I tried to maintain the stock geometry.

Sweet! I think you need a guard for that radiator or a rock is gonna break it real quick...

That, Sir, is an impressive 3WW entrance.

Wonder what would have happened if you had a TriZ frame and a 350 small block in your garage.....

The oil cooler up front is definitely asking for a rock puncture but that was the only spot the hoses would reach. I am debating just removing it all together because it probably isn't doing a whole lot for this application.

That's just crazy, I like it, and it looks to be done good. I am with everyone else and think we need video. Also a clip of it idling and reving.

How much offset is there on the motor to get the sprockets to line up? I was considering doing this with a gsxr600 and a 250r frame. Very cool build

Oh, oil cooler, sorry... I'd say a custom guard would look sweet on there
