1981 Yamaha Tri Moto 175 Questions from the new guy

Yup thats right I warned people I would have questions and they would be well pretty dumb

So first off......Manuals? anywhere to get or DL a Manual for my machine?
So here is my Machine its a picture from the ad I grabbed it for a case of beer that 24 beer in Canada.
so it cost me 47.50 I was nice and bought the cold stuff for them.

Now realizing I started the last three with "So"

Ok so any info on this machine would be great I think its a 81 thats what the ad said so im gonna go with that until it proves to be wrong.

I know it has issues and the ad stated it needed new head, piston, rings, oil pump, and so on.

but I never really go by what people say. because I have bought alot of things and it was a simple fix and it was up and running so thats how I take all the toys I get.

I am more of a tractor guy but hey I got a good deal and always wanted one. well a red one but this yellow one will do just fine. I am not a balls out kind of guy. I have a family and seen too much stupid stuff about accidents and what not that now I know better if I was 10 years or 15 years younger this might be different.

So if anyone has manuals, parts, diagrams on this machine please let me know.

Also I know the oil is empty but what should I put in? everything else I own I just toss in 10w30 haha has worked for the past 10 years with no issues but with this I doubt this is the case so any help on fluids for the machine would be great as well.

So far met a few people here and everyone seems cool I know I have read a few harsh posts and some others that where good debates in a way so hope theres more to come and I still have alot more to read.

    Thanks for any help

also I have read alot about the front end being too light on the tri moto has anyone filled their front tires for weight? I have done it in the winter with my tractors but wonder if anyone has done that with their tri moto and if it made much of a difference or not

thanks, ya I looked at the ones on ebay just trying to find one with the shipping that isn't higher then the part lol which is what I will probably do seen a used head and piston for that much for it so might just have to grab that one off there regardless of the shipping because I need to have this unit running within a month..... wife things it will never get done due to me working 7 days a week and I have enough other projects on the go.

Mike you're awesome. I'm gonna go check mine today. Finally figure what year this machine is I've had for the last month. You'll really like the YT175 once its up and running. Really fun light machine. The front end is pretty light, just because the engine is so far back.
