    1984 YTM225DX semi-restore...

Got a one owner YTM225DX last year for $500bucks.

I gave it new bearings all around, YTM200E axle, Banshee hub and alum. rims with mudlite tires, powdercoated the exhaust, powdercoated the rack and skidplates, brand new yamaha carb, new battery, fixed recoil, adjusted valves, new petcock, powdercoated rear shock red (looks sweet!) and some other cosmetic work.

Decals and plastics and seat are all original.

It was fun to take 'er out. Went with 3 other trikes (original owner 125M, $100 ATC200 and $300 YTM200E)

The 225DX was the best of all. Only one with full suspension and absolutely the fastest of the bunch. This thing drives like a new machine.

Very very nice!!! i have an 85 that is in quite similiar condition as your 225 was when you first got it but its blue. I also have another 225 that is in need of some serious work but I am hoping to have it running soon.
