    1984 Axle Collar

Should my 200x have a collar between the bearings inside the carrier? I don't remember one coming out of mine and I'm not finding one to put back in it but a picture I found in the manual shows it should have one but the picture is a different swing arm. The one in the picture is like from round tubing and mine is rectangle tubing. The manual says it's for 83-85.

The 83' 200x used a round tubing swingarm. The 84' and 85' were rectangular. That is why you see a picture of a different swingarm in the manual.

Does the one with the round tube use an axle collar and the rectangle swingarms not use a collar? If I have to have one, I can't put mine back together without it but I've not been able to find any pictures with a collar in it. I've found everything else for sale but not that collar???

Thanks, Mike. Does anyone have one of these laying around who could measure it for me? I've not found one for sale and they are shown as discontinued, and I really don't want to wait to have one shipped. If I can get good measurements, I'll make one. ID and OD shouldn't be too critical as long as it I get the OAL correct.

There is one in my 84. Just a piece of pipe that fits over the axle, but the length must be fairly critical. Can't measure it as its assembled and conceiled.
