Yamaha carbs

I bought a carb for my tri moto 200, well it just got here today and it is the style that bolts to the head? manifold? Anyway, if I get the other type of manifold can I run it or is it totaly incompatible with my rubber boot style manifold?

eta: From looking at the Clymers, I think I can get the intake boot from a shaft drive trike and should be in good shape. Anyone ever done this?
1 more thing, would a Moto 4 200 use the same intake?

You can use the intake manifold (I believe it's called a "carburetor joint") off a 84, 85 YTM200 or any year YTM200e.

83 was the only year with that retarded hose on the YTM200.

I know the YTM225 manifold is shorter.
