That was my same thought. The guy admits the VIN was "altered, stamped" whatever........

They moved them in 86, probably any assembled 87's too. There was an issue with the clutch cable melting on the exhaust in 1985.

Another thing is that like the 87 200x the 'Honda' on the triple tree probably would not be there if it was a real 87 350x. It would have become part of the decal on the front fender. Anyway, this thing looks like a late 86 model. Maybe the keyed ignition is with the real shrouds, fenders and seat... NOT. I bet the wire harness looks continuous and has no break for the ignition hookup.

Way to prove a point Portland! The guy says right in the video that it's a fake!

Give it it up buddy. Did you really think you discovered a video on youtube that nobody knew about? People have been searching for these trikes for years. It's gonna take a little more effort than that.

The only thing rare in that vid is, that Black Banshee has limited edition Cosmic Quads "Punisher" headlight covers on it...
Here is where my long useless list of stuff nobody cares about should go...

hahahahah, GOOD EYES MATE!!! I can't believe you picked that out - especially since one of them was covered in mud

I felt ashamed riding a quad that day, considering I was with 3 other 350X riders!

Uhhh false, YOU need to pay more attention! They talk about numerous things on how its not an 87 and if you had paid attention you would have seen there was no keyed ignition. Also you would have known that's another members old bike which was claimed to be an 87 but was found only to be an 86.

fake! I missed an 86 a dealer in south jersey had for sale. I was looking at a 250r and 86 200x in S. Jersey. Got to talking to the guy selling and he mentioned the 86 350x for sale. It was real real nice from what I was told. All the bolts had the markings on them still and the case/pipe guard were clean. Guy said it looked brand new. You could eat off the thing. They were going out of buisness and he showed it to him in the back. He was going to buy it for 3k and noticed the vin had a plate welded over it and he thought it was stolen. Im thinking avoid invintory on the ban. Who knows. Hopefully someone on here got it.
