I got a new toy (not a trike)...

Well yesterday was my birthday and Thursday my wife secured a really nice paying state job after 7 months of being unemployed so I went today and snagged this little beauty. 2005 DRZ400SM with 435 big bore kit and pumper carb. Pro circuit pipe (loud as ****) bark busters, and led signals. It has a few miles but I couldn't pass it up for $2700. The test ride (which lasted all of 5 minutes and managed to find me doing 80+, ripping up some back roads, pulling some wheelies, spinning up the back tire all the way down the gravel driveway and a few jumps) had me grinning from ear to ear. I now know why I didn't need one of these.

That's pretty cool. That engine stock in my quad rips pretty good so I can't imagine what it must do bored out and in a lighter bike

Yea, I'm loving this thing. With the big bore and the fcr mx carb it pulls like a mule. I never realized a thumper could pull like that. It feels so planted too. I run track days with my SV650 but this thing just rails the corners and instills so much confidence.

Loving it! I want to build a super moto in a bad way! Congrats on the new toy!
No trikes. Too old, too crippled. Unless I find one I can't live without!
