again - another Tionesta Trikes Conversion

Here is our 5th build. This time 2005 TRX450R conversion. We have changed our thinking a bit in this build and it came out for the better by far. We built a custom tank - which is not powder coated in the photo. And yes - I realize it is missing a chain and the front brake set up. This build will be done late this week. Just waiting on a few front brake components and the powder coater. Notice in the 3rd picture the nice flow of the seat to tank and the narrow dirt-bike feel of the tank shrouds. This bike came out awesome!

Forgive my cell phone pics - better quality actual camera pics to come as soon as she is finished!

It may look stretched because it has a plus 2 custom swinger on it. It feels very "250R-ish". Look at the seat in relationship to the handlebars. This is a comfy - ergonomic feel for sure.

we kind of sell them. Basically - you come up with all the parts needed (we are working on a parts list BTW) and a quad - and we do the conversion for X amount of dollars. This one happens to be for a guy who approached us about building it for him.

Looks good, what is your rake like, looks a little long? What is your seat height like? Seat height is where I had alot of issues, I did not want to have the really high height that the new 450s have whick led me to my stupid looking seat, but functional.

whats the difference between tionesta and tpc?

    This is my trike.
There are many like it, but this one is mine.
My trike is my best friend.
It is my life. I must master it, as I must master my life.
Without me my trike is useless.
Without my trike, I am useless.
I must roost faster than my enemy who is trying to beat me to the finish.
I must beat him before he beats me.
Before God I swear this creed.
My trike and myself are defenders of track.
We are the masters of keeping quads the losers.
So be it ... until there is no quad left.

That looks awesome! Before I got on this web site I never realized that people built their own trikes, There is some serious skill around this site...I've gotten into the prerunner pickups and sand rails, etc that are built from scratch but you guys are building trikes that look store bought that way, that is extremely impressive to me! Good work!

That is damn sexy! Nice work Tim... I want one!
No trikes. Too old, too crippled. Unless I find one I can't live without!
