250r and atc 70 rebuilding dreams

Glad i found a great place for when i run into anything or just want to see whats up. I live out in Lake Charles ,La. but originally from Cameron ,La. our home town was wiped off the map in hurricane rita and ike but us coonasses rebuild!! the atc70 went through both hurricanes under more than 17ft of salt water from the gulf and today she is a rebuilt from the ground up living and breathing ATC. i also just practically stole a 1983 atc250r and have now finally found my problem area. the guy sold it because it wouldnt run. Well i got it home played around with it and got a little running time out of it after all!! heard the important sounds i needed and shut her down. So now i am replacing the reed valve assembly and installing a new piston and gaskets. everything else on the bike is in awesome condition . here is a vid of the atc70 which i just had to throw on a twist throttle lol.
