I was just wondering for when i go into shopping for a new trike to have id like it to have reverse. is it only the X models or are their some that have it. i have a 200s and later on down the road might go to a 250x or 300x possibly.

1985 honda 200s aka "bones" only orignial part from the bike is frame the rest is off a different 200s 1984
Kawasaki klt160, 1984 ,85 and 86 Honda Big reds, 85-87 Honda 250sx, Suzuki alt125, and 86 and 87 Honda 125m I beleive as well. There were some aftermarket kits to convert the early 200 honda chain drives to a reverse machine"rare". Yamaha 225dr also had reverse, and not real sure about the larger cc Kawasaki klt's??

It was weird Kawi never put reverse on their KLT250's. Would have been a great utility trike if they had reverse.
duh! trick question. THEY ALL HAVE REVERSE. Its called getting off and pushing![]()
Kawasaki klt160 did not have reverse and was chain driven(same with klt110)....But the KLT 185 is shaft driven and has reverse.. I believe the 200cc+ KLT's also sported reverse but I haven't had time to research them.
With that being said the klt 185's are rare, and if you find one you should snatch it up they were only sold in 1986
the over 200cc klt's are more plentiful

Hmm, interesting. I guess you are right. so what about the 110's? I was told from like half a dozen people that the 110 and 160 were kissing cousins while the 185 was entirely different
Your bike looks exactly like my 185....hmm
Edit: I just looked up the specs(for my self). it would appear that my friends at the shop are a bunch of dumb aes it's actually the 160 and 185 that are alike and the 110 that's different
