    1985 250ES Big Red frustration

Hello newfound friends. Just registered here and trying to find out info. I have been using the search button for almost 2 hours now and am starting to get dizzy. Help! LOL I was searching for a wiring diagram for my 85 big red. I found one but it says on the schematic 1986-1987 ATC250ES nothing about 85. I also found a couple of threads on here where someone said the ignition system was different on the 85. I looked at several pages where users had links where you could download owners manuals. Again everything was labled 86 or 87. I never found anything labled 85. Does anyone have a link or answer to assist me. I thank you for any help in advance. My ignition keys from my 85 big red and my 87 250 fourtrax are the same, but I cant find the same color wires on the big red to plug into like they are on the fourtrax.

Do you have Some kind of PDF reader? I'm not really good with computers but I think I use Acrobat 7.0 to read them.
Got it from this thread: http://www.3wheelerworld.com/showthr...manual+updated
Click on the first link and then go in manuals, after go in ATCmanuals and it should be there.

Yes, I have the pdf reader. I should clarify. when I click on the link none of my computers I have access to would pull up the page at all. It wasnt that I couldn't read it, they all said that the page could not be displayed and that I might not be connected to the internet. I will try the new links given to me and keep my fingers crossed.

It is a big file, 81MB. Right click and choose SAVE AS is the way to go.

What kind of internet connection do you have?

Monroe Mikes links worked. Thanks to you both. I worked about 4 hours on the wiring today. I had it close enough one time that when I turned on the key the nuetral light would come on, but could get no power to the lights or start it with the start button. If I jump across the solenoid with a screwdriver it will start. I am afraid I will have to just strip the wires off and redo it all.

usually when a computer says that the link is bad, maybe a dot or dash in it somewhere that doesn't belong. Can you pull up the link in post 2? if so then my properties on internet explorer need tweaking, although I dont know exactly how.
